She might be subject to criticism for any number of things, but her appearance (teeth) wouldn’t be one of them.

Meanwhile the reactions of the left are amazing, but not surprising, to me at least. It is funny to see leftists all of a sudden go June Cleaver on Sarah Palin. But that sentiment is not as weird or contradictory as you might think...

Not weird or contradictory at all...as in many things, the comments are more revealing about the speakers than the subject.

They're shallow. Their facts and opinions flow from their feelings, not the other way around. Show me a woman who needs to denigrate a working mom, and I'll show you a woman not comfortable with her place in life.

Being present, however, is just as important as engaging...

Really? How?

Young children benefit greatly from being allowed to “do their own thing” without being micro-managed. With a parent in the background, the child knows that if something happens (a fall, for example), a parent is close by. But the child learns to interact and problem solve without adult interference or constant supervision.

Once a child is in a daycare or preschool, the child is micro-managed. Disagreements are solved immediately by the caregiver or teacher because they are interrupting planned events that are on a tight schedule.

This is one of the reasons that we see kids in anger management classes nowadays. They don’t learn, or are slow to learn, how to resolve conflicts.

One other thing I might mention is that the teachers’ unions are encouraging the unionization of daycare providers and of course, universal preK is how they are extending their indoctrination into the earliest age groups possible.
