Excellent interview - McCain was unwavering, yet very polite. He is at ease now. He seems to have made a transition from a Senator to an executive. He really seems different now. I’m impressed that he’s making decisions and I’m even more impressed that he’s making the correct decisions.

Message to to Brian; Please do not foget to ask Obama, that since Biden's age and his past 'health issues' (think his brain tumor was most recent - or was it is 'heart'?); whatever. . .'if Obama has considered just who Biden's replacement might be; IF something happen to him.

/I know Pelosi is is 'natural order' here; so surely a question worth asking.Particularly given Biden's age. . .and the bad health he has had to deal with./

Personally, if the VP is a 'heart-beat' away from the Presidency; I know who I would rather have step up. . .and into this posiiton. (. . .and Biden, not the choice.)

I love how he calls out Obama on the town hall meetings around the country. Obama is afraid and his campaign won’t let him do it because they need the panel in the pocket for them from the media. He needs the safe format because his campaign sees it as “Why put yourself at risk when you are leading 5-7 points right now?”

McCain should make commercials about how Obama won’t agree to a dozen town hall meetings across the country....and say “What are you afraid of Senator Obama?”

GOOD video. McCain effortlessly makes Obama look like a little kid who is trying too hard.

McCain should put out an ad showing the part of Obama’s Invesco performance where Obama stated he would debate McCain on the issues.

McCain's ad would be a proposal to a series of townhall debates, one a week, from next week until the week before the election.

Fabulous debate link ~ thank you! Love the format.

About 75 minutes into it, Sarah Palin says that it doesn’t matter who gets the credit for reforms when working toward a goal.

Hmmm... didn’t some great President keep a similar plaque on his very desk in the Oval Office?
Hint: rhymes with “braggin” ~ something you don’t hear from Palin.

Good observation. John McCain has the temperament of an executive - not a business executive, but a "campaign" executive in the full sense of the word.

It is in his genetics, after all.

WOW!

That’s the kind of warm, tough, considered, measured, principled, enthusiastic McCain they need to put on TV for the rest of the season.

When did he say damn the torpedoes?
