I agree... and I was thinking when he said that people who believe in low taxes and traditional values are just stuck in outdated politics... that's not the kind of change we need! I'm not about to drop my principles to join a feel good crusade that will make what problems we have worse and threaten what's been fixed. Obama did not make the case for change tonight.

As per usual, throw more money at teachers and that will fix everything. Do all the other countries we’re compared to pour money into students who are disciplinary problems or lazy students?

The first part of the speech was quite negative, then Obama said something worthwhile about parents being involved in their children’s lives, and finally he went into the “I’ll fix everything” mode.

He is a Marxist, who went to a Marxist so called “Christian” church who damned America and who’s very mission, (so called, “black liberation theology” DENIES THE DIVINITY OF CHRIST. The event was so much bigger than the candidate that it will leave but a sooty residue in the minds of even the most devout Obamatrons. The bad news is that the republicans are so ineffectual and so afraid of not being polite that they are likely to sabotage the gift that the democrats have given them. A soulless, empty windbag, who loathes 50% of his genetic makeup. Some might argue his better half, at very least the half that didn’t run out on him. Sorry, angry will work. If the category he’s losing the most in to McCain is being the CIC, then yelling every now and then isn’t going to make things worse.

He did what he needed to do, I don’t think he won over a lot of people but he did some. Now it falls upon McCain to win them back

The anger was on purpose. It's supposed to be infectious. You, or at least the "undecided", and of course the DemonRat base, are supposed to be angry. Angry at George Bush, and by "association" angry at John McCain, who after all "agrees with Bush 90% of the time".

Calm introspective types don't vote for far left candidates, in any great numbers anyway. An angry voter is a motivated voter. They might even lay off the weed, crack or crank long enough to go to the polls in November.
