Hillary Launches Her 2012 Campaign

I am probably the biggest political junky you will ever meet. I haven’t missed a presidential nominating convention, Republican and Democrat, since 1956. I was eight years old that year, and I remember listening to Dwight Eisenhower’s acceptance speech through the wall after my parents made me go to bed.

A good piece, especially considering I was not going to be up at 3 a.m. to watch it.

Great article. I so admire these political writers that pull out those little subtle points that I intuitively sense is off and sure enough they point it out, analyze it and nail its meaning! Patton did just that here.

Hillary's impressive speech was all about her campaign for the Presidency 2012 and Patton shines a light on exactly all those points that shone like a full moon when she spoke but was distorted by the cheers that her speech was really in support for Barack and Michelle Obama. Her and Bill still are working hard as a team to put another Clinton in the white house.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in that household--that is if they still live in the same home together. The Clintons are a crazy breed. But entertaining--that is for sure! Great article thank you for posting.

Maybe.. but without the aura of inevitability and the aura of being the original anointed one, there is little else to propel her. A few old hags won’t do it. And by the time 2011 rolls around she would be long forgotten as an also ran.

Hil needs BHusseinO to lose this election because if he wins, he might sit in the oval office for 8 years. Too long for her to wait. If McCain wins, however, it would probably be a one-term presidency, not too horribly long from a Clinton point of view.

Watch for subtle sabotage. I wonder what the routing slip is from the Hil dirt diggers to the McCain campaign.

God Please!!!!! Enough with the pants suits already. Bad enough in 2008 to think one would have to look at them again!
