Has Kurtz gotten in to see the files?
Radio Host offered Obama team to be on during interview as well and Obama team passed. Then the host said, it did generate a lot of angry callers (Obama supporters) to the station for having Kurtz on.
Interview hasn’t started yet. Should start soon. They are doing news at the top of the hour.

when the obama campaign made such an issue of it?

- Barack Chairman of Board on Annenberg project (CAC) - most important executive experience has had to day.
- State campaign launch even hosted by Ayers/Dohrn
- Clear CAC joint project by Obama, Ayers & others.
- Two Shared educational & juvenile crime philosophy. Appears to be a political alliance.
Records:
- Kurtz starting to examine records.
- Kurtz still doesn’t know who requested that access to records were originally closed or the original donor (he may find out soon). Kurtz was concerned donor was setting up a position to take records back. So Kurtz went public with story and access issues.
- Has this week to look at records.
- AP, NYT, & many other news orgs showed up to review. But has thinned out considerably after a day or two.

- Host says: Obama camp invited but passed. “Firestorm” of angry phone calls & emails for having kurtz on. Reads an example email from a moonbat. Very entertaining.
- Producer: Called Obama camp around noon. Said Kurtz would be on. Invited someone from Obama camp for full 2 hours. They declined. They demanded to know who station manager was, then Obama spokesperson hung up!
Obama “team” still bitching and moaning b/c no “balance” even though they had the chance and declined.
Foundation spent 110 million since ‘95. Obama first chairman.
Does Kurtz actually think he’s going to come up with something? Has he already? What his is progress?
Ayers is present at board meetings.

- Focsing on relationship and why did project failed.
- $50MM from Annenberg Foundation.
- Ayers put together proposal to get $50MM grant. Two wings of CAC project. Barrack headed one, Ayers another.
- Plus got matching funds of an additional $60MM. So $110MM total spent - but no results.
- Reason to believe Ayers involved in decision to bring in Barack - but not an absolute fact, just indications.
- Ayers was present at many board mtgs with Barack.
Money:
- Used most of $110MM
He’s still looking.

Unfortunately its a two hour radio show, so they are taking their time. Plus Kurtz just starting reviewing so he will continue for a few more days. Plus it sounds like some of the documents are raising more questions that won’t be answered from the available materials (e.g. was Ayers involved in getting barack assigned as chairman of board)
The Global Labor and Politics guy is griping that he didn’t get put on... well they asked the Obama campaign for balance. I think they should have invited him if they got his message, but it looks like he was scheduled for the 29th. I wouldn’t call this censorship but it is a lost opportunity.
