TRIPOLI - The hijackers who hijacked on Libya a Sudanese plane, with more than 100 people on board, belonging to the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLA) and want to join their leader Abdel Wahid Mohammed Nur in Paris , Said during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday a Libyan airport source.

"The pilot reported that the pirates, numbering ten or maybe more, (...) as belonging to the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLA) Abdel Wahid Mohammed Nur," said the director of the military airport Koufra (south-east) where the plane was stopped in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

According to the pilot, "hackers claimed to have coordinated (the operation) with him (Mohammed Nur) to join him in Paris," said Khaled Saseya quoted by the official Libyan agency Jana.

The SLA is one of two rebel groups in Darfur (west Sudan).

i´m just curious if france will let them land in paris. i mean after 9/11 i guess most western governments are at least wary when hijacked planes fly over our cities.

TRIPOLI - Passengers of hijacked Sudanese plane Tuesday on Libya began Wednesday to leave the unit, told AFP an official of Libya.
