You have the wrong point of view on this matter. It is the duty of each and every citizen to speak out and condemn all of the unconstitutional actions of their representatives.

Perhaps the good citizens who reside in the District of Columbia will get off their butts and elect people to represent them who are first and foremost Patriots and who will actually support the Constitution.

I think that a good reminder in the wallet might be just what the doctor would prescribe in this instance.

And once the citizens get hit with a huge bill for attorney’s fees, maybe next time they elect a politician, they’ll think twice about it and maybe elect someone who cares about the Constitution.

Unfortunately the ones doing the voting aren't the ones getting hit with the taxes. The typical black democrat voter (Fenty's base) in a place like DC doesn't pay a very large tax burden.

Further importance of voting wisely: elect an idiot, and he's gonna cost YOU money.

False. The people who voted against Fenty are probably the ones who pay the largest tax burden in DC.

As another example look at the coming November election and suppose that the worst case comes true and that Marxist SOS Obama is elected. It won't be because I voted for him, but his grandiose plans to rob even more from the hard working and fling the largesse around the world will be paid for by people like you and me.

Or look at Kongress and garbage like Boxer, Feinstein, Schumer, Kennedy (may he rot in hell soon) etc. I didn't vote against any of them because I don't live in their districts, but they can stick their hands in my pocket and withdraw as much as they want because they come from safe democrat consituencies - elected by liberals and do nothings. The ones who do the electing aren't the ones who do the paying.
