The irony is, that in fact may be the only thing that idiot Obama has right.

That Chinese infrastructure is coming up fast and hard on the heels of the USA, and eventually they are going to eat our lunch--if we don't watch out, despite great deprivation to their own people.

People who have been to the China in the last three or four years and see the ascendency, and then compared it to the shoddy infrastructure crumbling in the US in more and more places and sectors of the economy, will know what I am talking about.

Japan knows it. Most others I have talked to who have been to Minneapolis and Beijing, Houston and Shanghai, Philadelphia and Guangzhou, know exactly what I speak of.

And the Rats are going to make sure it continues. For example, the Rat governors of 14 states have sued the EPA to make them set rules on CO2 emissions from refineries. Refineries are already struggling to keep up with existing AQ regs and the mandated boutique fuels for different US cities. Meanwhile countries like China and India give only lip service, if that, to environmental controls. Nothing like driving with the brake on, especially since the science is showing that CO2 is only a very minor player in global climate change no matter what the politicians and enviro-nuts say. Unfortunately, like a big ship at sea, change to the policy will be slow in coming.

I’m not sure the Chinese system is superior.

They find a target, set it, and aim all their resources (including people and the souls and bodies) towards it and damn the consequences. And they win, no doubt.

But does this really create a whole society? They have to create a huge bureaucracy and totally disrupt the family for this. This has to not only have consequences elsewhere, but also the method itself is flawed.

For instance, I see no room for innovation. If you notice, the Americans always excel in the “up and coming” sports.

They do this all with “volunteers”. But the reason people volunteer is their lives are so horrendous this is their hope.

The frightening thing is, they are working their army in the same direction. In another post I mentioned Ancient Sparta. They used to take young children away from their parents and abuse them to make perfect soldiers out of them.
