Texas billionaire Harold Simmons, who helped pay for the devastating attacks on the military record of Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kerry in 2004, has paid for a television ad that assails Barack Obama over his ties to a founder of a violent radical group.
Simmons, who is also a major fundraiser for John McCain, donated $2.87 million that a newly formed nonprofit group, the American Issues Project, has used for the ad, a report filed Friday with the Federal Election Commission shows.
The 60-second ad opens with Obama giving a speech, then asks how much voters know about him.

Looks like the Ayers link is the cream of the crop of sore spots for Obamayers. I don’t blame them for being upset, its a powerful ad and will help to crush bambi. Too bad for them its ALL absolutely provable truth.
True to form, the LA Times paints the threat as Mr. Simmons, who is a true patriot, instead of Ayres, who wishes he could have done more harm to the USA than merely killing policemen and who stomps on our flag with a grin on his aging face.

The first amendment is essentially worthless thanks to campaign finance regulations and the FCC. Thank goodness especially that the FCC is around for Marxist thugs who want to suppress inconveniently free speech (regardless of its merits).
The Obama ads are just another good deed from a great man.
