Muleheadedness is not “conservative principles’. Pretending that John McCain is no worse than Obama is not “conservative principles” merely delusion. Just on National Security and Pro-life stands John McCain should get our vote. And those don’t even go into WHO Obama is.
We have NEVER had the choice of a perfect candidate so to sniff that McCain isn’t begs the question and shows great political naivity.

LOL! Now you McCainiacs are getting to be as irrational as the Dems. I'm an engineer and I know math inside and out. (I also taught AP Calculus, but I don't consider that teachers really know much of anything, so that doesn't count). Your 'new' math is so simple, it is totally inaccurate.

I just LOVE the work you did on the I-35 bridge in Minnesota.... LOL

It's easy to grasp the mathematics involved. What you're forgetting is that there three choices: vote for McCain, vote for NObama, or vote for a 3rd candidate/stay home (both have the same effect).

A vote for McCain puts him up by 1 (+1).
A vote for Bob Barr(or staying home) leaves McCain even (+/- 0)
A vote for NoBama leaves McCain down one (-1)

It takes +2 to get from -1 to +1, so you would be supporting NObama twice as much by voting for him as opposed to staying home.

Your math is ONLY correct if you assume that I want McAmnesty to win and that my vote is already bought and paid for.

Everyone here that says not voting is the same as voting for Obama is operating on the premise that conservatives are forced to vote for the Republican candidate, no matter how unappealing (polically-speaking) they may be. For example, for the sake of argument let’s say someone thinks my vote is bought and paid for by the Democrats for whatever reason. Then my not voting would be the same as giving McAmnesty a vote.

Therefore, while your logic is not wrong and you explained it quite succintly and clearly, the premise you are starting with is incorrect. Therein lies the problem.

Nice try at an inane insult. Typical of a support of a liberal candidate, I guess, to insult first.

Calling me names because I cannot settle for a liberal candidate is....rather liberal of you.

Stick to the point and stop whining that I called you names since I did not. Pro-life, pro-national security and pro-tax cuts are not “liberal” positions. Face the truth.
