Just thought I would scoop the scoopers. Looks fairly conclusive.

Interesting choice, a Hillary stand-in with out the Clinton drama. Brings in the women votes, Hillary votes, unites the party, expands the big-tent Dem appeal, goes after Republican women votes.

I think that will make Hill supporters furious and will alienate more Dems in the long run. Therefore I support this choice.

Well had to pay her back for her blatant lies at the behest of Howard Dean to try to make Bush look bad after tornado leveled that town blaming not enough equipment and national guard troops on the war in Iraq.

If this is try, that’s why folks.. nothing more than that.

I personally think this 90-lb weakling bringing in a woman is going to make this ticket a disaster. Do we really need a mob boss/union thug President teamed up with a woman while Russia, China, Iran, Syria, and others wish to destroy us with force?

I don’t think it helps with the hardcore Hillary voters...they will be ticked...but I’m not sure how big that pool really is. They will be VERY vocal about it though.

I don’t know, it’s such an obvious pander. What can he say, he’s choosing her for her national security expertise? Just not buying it, at least not yet.

We will be happy to have here leave KS. Not a good choice for Obama and KS will go for McCain anyway.

Just playing devil’s advocate — I’m sure domain name squatters jump on the most obvious ObamaBlank.com names. Maybe they just overlooked this one and Obama’s people got going a little late trying to lock up domain names and were only able to get this one?

The reason I say this is that even if it is Sebelius, I’m sure Obama’s decision wasn’t made until recently. And I’m sure all the ObamaBiden, ObamaWhoever websites were grabbed by others well before any such decision was made.

We’ll know in short order of course . . .

I agree with what it brings in, but in the end The candidate at the top won’t be elected. I do not like Sibelius, watch that ticket go down to defeat.

Here's what Howard Fineman just posted at MSDNC:

Within the last few hours I've spoken with two of the finalists for the role of Barack Obama's running-mate, and to two other sources who are close to the process.

My bottom line is this: Barring a big surprise or last-minute change of heart, the choice is likely to be Sen. Joe Biden of Deleware, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.

He is a lively and feisty if unpredictable campaigner with working-class roots and a street-level feel for the hot spots of the globe — which he can use to go toe-to-toe with Sen. John McCain.

"If I had to bet my life on it, I'd bet it is Joe," said one of the other contenders.

Said another, "Barack is moving toward a seasoned Beltway type, and that probably means Biden."

What a joke.

I think the rats do this kind of thing just to be contrary.

I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on DNS ownership. Could be, but very far from conclusively proving anything.

Hardly a surprise, Sebelius has been bought and paid for by George Tiller.

Our source noted “It will get a women on the ticket that shares the same views as Obama”.

They would have offered the job to Mrs. Mao Zedong but she's dead.
