Well now the world knows why Obama has refused McCain's offer for town hall debates.

McCain was energized,...Which is why the notion that McCain cheated by listening to "Uh"bama is nonsense. "Uh"bama could put bricks to sleep...

I believe McCain lied when he said that decision was difficult for him to make. He knew he would be tortured more, but it was a matter of commitment, principal and honor.

Anyone know if this was posted on you-tube or if it is available for download some where... I tuned in while Obama was still on, got bored with the political hack and changed channels. Unfortunately I fell asleep soon after. I would like to see McCains interview. I still don't like McCain but would be interested in what he has to say. This does not mean I wont vote for Mr. McCain he is better than that worm Obama... but then a blind, castrated chihuahua is better than Obama.

Just a few observations:
(1) The articles posted on the Drudge Report confirm that Matt is in the tank for Obama. Obama got killed in this debate, but you can't figure that out from Drudge.
(2) The MSM will really step up the coverage of hurricane Fay to bury this event as "old news".
(3) Obama handed the RNC and McCain a mother load of quotes and talking points for the campaign. Included in those points is evidence of why Obama refuses to debate "anywhere, anytime".
(4) Finally, it will very interesting to see how this debate impacts the DNC convention in Denver. Obama may be dealing with criticism from both inside and outside the Democrat Party.

I have just watched the full Saddleback videos.....Obama sounded like a politician, McCain sounded presidential.....
I have to say, I was very impressed with McCain.

What is sad, out of my large circle of conservative friends I am the only one who watched this forum. I spent much of the weekend sending them clips, youtube links, and commentaries to get them caught up. And here at work this morning, same story.
