Burger King Worker Fired After Taking Bath In Sink

A Burger King worker in Xenia, Ohio, took a bath in the restaurant's kitchen sink.

Timothy Tacket, the employee, was fired. He said he did it because it was his 25th birthday and he wanted to do something entertaining.

"It's the other people who have been affected by this. I made my own bed, so I'm going to have to lie in it," Tacket said. "But anybody else's lives that are personally affected, I really regret that -- that's not what was the intention. This, it was something that I set out light-hearted and funny, turned into bad."

The Burger King also fired the other employees who watched as well as the store manager.

He’s an idiot (25 and working at BK — not as manager), but I admire how he was standing up for the other employees/store manager.

Elaine, [eating dinner with Kramer, Elaine, and Puddy]: "Mmm. This food is fantastic, Peggy: And what a pretty radish rose, huh?"

Kramer: "Well, thank you."

Elaine: "Here's to Peggy, on her first week of being germ-free, free."

[all four make toast]

Kramer: "Yeah. And here's to David Puddy for helping me install a much needed and much appreciated garbage disposal in my bathtub."

[all four make another toast]

Peggy: "You have a garbage disposal in your bathtub?"

Kramer: "Oh, yeah, and I use it all the time. Yeah, I made this whole meal in there."

Elaine: "This food was in the shower with you?"

Kramer: "Mm-hmm. I prepared it as I bathed."

[Peggy, Elaine, and Puddy all gag and wretch]

Puddy: "Oh, germs. Germs. Germs!"

“MySpace has removed the video from its Web site”

Was it obscene? Or just something that a potential corporate sponse complained about?

Yet another reason to avoid fast food joints.

(Greasy, disgusting "food" being reason #1)

Funny thing is, the news network itself still has a clip of the video on their site...

Wonder if Burger King knows.

Yes. Also: “I made my bed and now I have to lie in it”. He sounds like someone who may have actually learned something from his dumb-ass behavior and its consequences; and THAT’S becoming a rare commodity in this country.

I thought the reason to avoid them is that the product is made as cheaply as possible using low cost materials with low skilled labor.

In a truly George Costanzian moment, using the inwardly directed principles to get himself fired, he ably projected outwardly those same principles to get those around him fired. (Applause)

Interesting that a single moron employee and associates can probably have a measurably damaging impact on the entire sales of all franchisees. The image of the BK sink bath is going to subtly direct some palates across the street, or wherever, than their local BK.
