One in six white Britons feel only a slight sense of belonging to the nation.

Whites also now feel less able than other ethnic groups to influence decisions affecting their local area and the country as a whole.

For example, 41 per cent of black African, 36 per cent of Bangladeshi and 35 per cent of Indian people feel they have a say in decisions affecting Britain, compared to 19 per cent of white people.

The degree of white disaffection would likely be greater in Britain than in America as a whole, although certain of the most liberal states, such as California and New York, would come close to the British figures. The UK has been ruled by the Labour Party, equivalent to the left wing of the Democrats, for well over a decade. Additionally, local and state governments in the U.S. have more latitude than their equivalents in Britain. Thus, more conservative states like Texas or Oklahoma are less likely to push for radical egalitarianism or engage in favortism to nonwhites than, say, Oregon or Connecticut.

Polls like this also beg the question of what the figures would be like if the respondents weren’t terrified of being labeled a racist if they gave the ‘wrong’ answer?

Yes, but IN PRACTICE we know that it is overwhelmingly based on race, specifically blacks. I know people in all of those demographic groups, but am unaware of ANY of them receiving AA benefits.

White military males get AA benefits? On what possible basis? AA is designed to remedy discrimination. They are discriminated against because they are ex-military?

I believe if you went through a tape of virtually any large public meeting of African American (like Tavis Smiley's yearly state of the black nation conference C-Span covers every year, NAACP, Obama’s Church, etc. and transcribed every remark critical of whites, “white America”, the “white man” which received audience applause, select the most hostile and radical of those remarks
and then
assembled a large randomly selected audience of whites (Americans whose ancestors were of European Caucasians origin) and had speakers repeat the above transcribed more radical remarks with ‘black’ or ‘African American’ substituted for white that those remarks would be greeted with boos not applause and that white audience members would stand up and verbally attack the speakers, shout them down and if that was not successful walk out.

It is a simple fact of American life that a black audience will not just tolerate but applaud anti-white hate speech and a white audience will react very negatively to anti-black hate speech.

Same is going on here and blacks are a lot harder on poor whites than whites are on poor blacks. My sister worked as a supervisor for DHS in the Dallas. By the time she retired in 05 it was pretty bad.
My sister was dieing so her office was moved to an exit near a ramp and disabled parking.Shortly after that a black program director was appointed and promptly moved my sister to a back office with lots of stairs to climb and near a parking lot they called the “north 40”. She also started dumping all the work the slacker didn’t do onto my sister and her secretary. What the program director was good at was not getting to work on time or not at all, being rude and taking credit for other peoples work.
I would take her to the office on weekends to work (no overtime because she was a supervisor). Here would come the b clerks and caseworkers with their kids, radios and portable tv’s to hang out for the day because they qualified for overtime.Not much work was done.
I know for a fact there are some things that workers are not allowed to say to clients but blacks said were rude and said what they wanted. There were a lot of nice people of all races working in that office but many were not.

White females have been the largest beneficiaries of affirmative action programs. That’s where female police officers, firefighters (they used to be called fireMEN and trade unionists come from).

The ‘sermons’ of ‘Reverend’ Wright come to mind, where the ‘parishoners’ ebullience erupts into unrestrained jumping-out-of-their-seats glee when antiwhite statements are made.

The larger point being that ANY time AA is applied, 100% of the excluded group is a “victim”.

Males whenever discrimination is applied to benefit females.

“Breeders” whenever discrimination is applied to benefit gays.

And as I said, 100% of whites whenever AA is applied to benefit “persons of color”.

The Brits brought this upon themselves with successive Labor/liberal governments. During the mid 1960’s we have a family friend from the UK who was complaining about the arrival of huge numbers of third world types who were immediately on the dole and were involved in taking the crime rates to levels never seen in the UK.
They should have listened to Enoch Powell who spoke the truth but the press in the UK (the most evil press in the free world) was able to brand the insightful Powell as a vile racist. Many Brits wanted to show themselves as morally superior to the United States which was undergoing unrest of a similar nature but on a much greater scale.
Well now the Brits have a terrible problem that will probably destroy them as a civil society. I give them little chance of survival. The chattering classes at the BBC and other institutions are worried about so called Global Warming (as if the UK could solve the problem by itself, they are delusional). Things don't look good for the mother country. Better think of emigrating to US, Canada, Australia, etc. Sorry UK, you have nobody to blame but your own politicans.

Theodore Dalrymple has said, multiculturalism is a "divide and conquer" strategy devised by the left to break down the institutions which resist the imposition of socialism. The allegation is a coldly serious one: Liberals intend to inject racial discord into a society to weaken the society to the point where it gives up on itself and accepts socialism.

Accepting the premise, means that we are in a lose lose situation. Even as we decry the very cynicism of playing the race card as Obama had done, or as we decry the racism of affirmative action, or as the Brits complain of their ill-treatment as whites by a bureaucracy committed to political correctness, we think that we have unmasked an evil. We think that once the evil is identified society will take steps to correct it.

The diabolical implication of the divide and conquer strategy which is the essence of multiculturalism, is that our reaction, our indignation, is just as strategically effective to the left as the inequity visited upon us itself. The left is in a win-win situation. The more they play the race card, the more we become indignant, the more the races are set against each other.

I understand Dalrymple’s point, but to me evil, injustice (as in Affirmative Action), and falsehoods need to exposed to the light of day.

I was about to acknowledge that the Socialist’s diabolical strategy is a very clever one, but then realized that they are simply destroying; destroying centuries-old institutions, which any fool with a claw-hammer can do. It is the assemblage of an organized, just, constuctive society that is difficult.
