Somewhere, in my distant family tree is a branch that, regrettably, leads to Senator Byrd. I probably shouldn't even admit this.

This slur from a Klansman kleegle.
The Democrats embrace a culture of corruption.

I think it means trailer trash. And I still cannot believe he continued to be a Senator... If you or I said the N word... we would be thrown in prison for hate speech...

Given that Jefferson Davis was president during Byrd’s childhood he’s probably just confused again.

he stays in office because he’s related to 60% of the people in his state.

“The book released June 28 with little fanfare...”. Indeed, lol!! I can just picture a “Byrd” book signing: what few people, if any, who would show up would have to immediately wipe the drool off their books, which probably will sell less than Pelosi’s book. What a loser!!! The both of them!

“You really need to move LBJ up that list several notches.”
No kidding. And I’m sure I’ll get flamed by the hagiolaters out there, but Abraham Lincoln is largely viewed as being the prime mover in the destruction of the United States as a Constitutional Republic. His virtual nullification of the Constitution is unparalleled in United States history. Lincoln was a tyrant in the truest sense of the word. But, since the victors write the histories, he has been elevated to sainthood.

Byrd must be too senile to remember double digit Jimmy. But since Jimmy ran for governor of Georgia on a segregationist platform, he and Byrd might be buds.
