I don't think would be wise, but do we let them build back the former Soviet Union. Intelligence suggest this has been planned for awhile and with Israel positioning itself to attack Iran, I think Russia needed to jump first. Here in America, you are right, but I think the international community is looking at this the same way we are. We might have some help in this war (dreaming) but we never know. Communism was never dead, President Reagan just put it in a coma for awhile. You will notice that none of the loonies on the left are actually calling for a stop to this because that is the party they are affiliated with, Communism, or Marxist, you choose your word.
