Should we write about it, post about it or covering it in any way?

COVER it in any way.

I feel that every American (including President Bush) that are in attendance at the Olympics

That IS in attendance.

I think if the Chinese can learn proper English, we should respect that.

It's raining like a son of a gun in Beijing.

I have the men's volleyball on.

Just to annoy you.

...each man, woman and child are enemies to the USA, the west, and basic civilization.

No, the government is. Most Chinese people are victims of the ChiCom government not supporters of it.

I have no use for the Olympics. The ChiComs are unquestionably using it as a propaganda tool and they have heaped loads of suffering on their own people and others to make themselves look good.

I have never been a real big fan of the Olympics. I like the winter games a bit better than the summer events. But I am not usually antagonistic towards the Olympics either. This time I definitely am.

The only international event I would like to see in Beijing is "Hang a Tyrant from a Lamp Post." Preferably by an all Chinese team.

The only events I would be interested in are the shooting events and they won’t be televised, but I am boycotting the chicoms anyway.

If you get UHD on your cable or sat, then they are broadcasting trap shooting right now.

I was watching some of the race. It was pouring rain! Horrendous conditions with a 100% chance of hydroplaning!

When the story mentioned a “gutter between the road and a retaining wall”, I envisioned a muddy, rain filled ditch.

This was a narrow stone gutter and a stone wall! The rider fell into it and disappeared! Unbelievable!

The American team was in good position, but late in the race got boxed up, and the dreadful weather didn't help things.

Funny, I read that China had big plans for making it not rain! LOL! What happened with that?

I gave up watching the Olympics years ago. Once they allowed pros into the games and it became less about sports and more about PC crap. My protest against the Chicoms is just to ignore the whole thing.

Seconded.

> Our kind not the stupid Canadian kind...

American Gridiron is a great game, gaining in popularity in New Zealand. Canadian Gridiron is technically a much better game.

And my point is that American involvement in 1936, in the form of Jesse Owens, showed the lie to the theory of the “master race” that was supposed to be showcased in Berlin. By showing up and competing, America lessened the propaganda value of the Berlin Olympics. I hope that the Beijing Olympics will suffer the same fate.

This is all completely EMPTY reasoning. Jesse Owens won a race. That lead to... what? I'll tell you what ... NOTHING.

The war STILL happened. Germany STILL killed millions and millions. The Jews STILL died by the millions. And Jessee, why he STILL didn't stop all that with his great running.

America playing to Hitler's Olympic tunes did N-O-T-H-I-N-G positive.Zip. Nada.

To be honest, I was being sarcastic. I don’t think we will ever see American Gridiron in the Olympics.. I just find the whole thing boring.. If Chicago does get it for the 2016 Olympics, then I’m going out of town during that time.

That would be great.. I think the score would be 200 - 0.. There is no way in hell people playing in foreign gridiron leagues has the talent of the NFL (Well maybe the Canadians..)

Any Canadians with talent end up going South to America where the money is. I predict Canadian Football will die off eventually.

Some of our New Zealand Samoan players are pretty formidable, and they are HUGE — like The Refrigerator — and they start out life at two years old learning Rugby skills. One day, they might give the US a run for its money. Or more likely go over to America to play in the NFL.

It will be a very, very long time before anyone plays Gridiron better than America does. It is in your national psyche, just like The Rugby is in ours.

And there is no event that is better than the Superbowl anywhere in the world.

I think you are right that the CFL die off. The problem is that there is only 8 teams.. I have seen some stories some Canadians prefer the NFL to the CFL..

I think I have seen some Samoans play in the NFL.. Mostly either on the Offensive linemen or Defensive linemen..

I happen to agree. However, I am seeing more Foreign American Gridiron Leagues popping up.

I always watch the Super Bowl no matter who is playing.. I prefer that to than the World Series..
