It’s a darn shame that Obama didn’t select Edwards before this became public. It won’t hurt him a bit, but it might hurt McCain.

Yep, rumors have been that Edwards was on the short list for VP. That would have been great for popcorn sales if he had already picked Edwards and then had to back away.
