As I noted on a related thread:

...if McCaine goes with Joe, he loses my vote. I see no reason to vote for a 70-something Republican candidate, who apparently couldn't find a single Republican, anywhere in the entire country, to serve as his 'backup.' If McCaine goes with Joe, & passes away while in office, he would have just reversed the election results, & thrown the White House to the D@mocrats.

Don't get me wrong - I would still cast my votes for other Republicans (meaning I would not sit out the election). I just wouldn't vote for McCaine/Lieberman. Guess they can plan on 'independents' filling in for me...

re: ..if McCaine goes with Joe, he loses my vote.)))

Definitely. Two things have to happen for me to vote instead of write-in Betty Boop.

1) He has to pick a decent VP.

2) There has to be an opposition in the House emerge that will defy McCain on all his anti-conservative nonsense.

There are many days that I believe conservative America just might be better off with Obama.

This is why McCain will do it, just to spite conservatives.

I think this is a character flaw for McCain, do the wrong thing just to stand alone.
