(WXYZ) Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is expected to be arraigned on felony assault charges either later today or early tomorrow.

This all finally broke the past few days after Nancy Pelosi visited the area to support Kilpatrick’s mother, head of the black caucus who was in a primary fight.
Michigan easily has the worst economy in the nation.....yet Obama and McCain are neck in neck in the state.....was not supposed to happen.
Obama can’t campaign in Detroit with the Mayor facing felony, bribery charges, ......the Mayor was also headed to the Denver convention.....that all had to be headed off.
This is the concerted push to get him out of office...now...and out of the news.
Because we all know, only the Republican party is the party of corruption.

I think he pushed a couple of Deputies that were trying to serve one of his friends a warrant... it happened about two weeks ago.

We need a thread called “Updates” or “What ever happened to” or “The Outcome”
or all three so we can keep people apprised of how the crooks are coming along, etc., like W. Jefferson (D) of Louisiana just to name one.

Kilpatrick should keep at it. Just maybe he and Granholm together will drive the state to McCain this year. Though they will make every effort to steal as many votes as they can.
He was yelling obscenities, and accusing the black detective of being a traitor to her race, etc.
He could have been charged with racial intimidation also.
He is also awaiting trial on charges of obstruction and perjury in the case of two police officers who were taking him to court about being fired because they "knew to much".
Those officers knew too much about a party at the Major's mansion, with strippers, fights, drunkenness, etc.
Those two strippers have since been MURDERED, one in a drive by in front of her home.
