Wasn’t it the liberal media who demanded a trial for this guy? They got what they wanted.
The MSM probably wanted him acquitted and the the staff at Gitmo tried for war crimes plus have him be given millions of dollars in reparations, made an honorary US citizen and allowed to address a joint session of Congress about how bad he was treated.
