I would've liked Steelman’s chances better than Hulshof’s vs. Nixon but I'm not ready to write off the Show Me to the Donk party just yet. Hulshof needs to go for the jugular and there are plenty of issues where Nixon has been found less than honest.
I don't know enough about either to confidently state which one is more electable vs. Nixon - but I hope you're right and he can be defeated.
I'm not at all ready to surrender to the Donks either. I grew up in the Midwest, moved away for a number of years and then moved back about 15 yrs ago. I love it here and can't think of a better place to live and raise a family.
