Sad but good news. The perp was 18 years old and decided to do great evil instead of good; at that point, he killed himself as well as the two girls he murdered.

I agree. Such a waste of lives... he hurt his own family as well as the families of those he murdered. Now the girls are safe in the arms of God; but what suffering is still visited upon the living who remember them?

May God have mercy on all the victims - his family included.

True, it is sad that evil happens in this world. This was a case that had to be made more on principle than the death penalty itself. Not executing him because the so-called “world court” said not to would have been of greater dire consequence. God bless Texas.
