After a rough couple of weeks, Barbara Wagner finally got some good news Monday.

Last month, she found out that her lung cancer, which had been in remission for about two years, had come back. After her oncologist prescribed a cancer drug that could slow the cancer growth and extend her life, Wagner was notified that the Oregon Health Plan wouldn’t cover the treatment, but that it would cover palliative, or comfort, care, including, if she chose, doctor-assisted suicide.

Just an exerpt, Heard Mark Levin talking about this yesterday... follow the link and read the whole article... This is where we are headed under a government run health care system. Anybody you know that wants the government to provide our health care needs to read this article. Under Oregon's system, they wont cover the medication to prolong her life but they will cover a doctor to assist her in taking her own life!

When I read such news, I always think of the Rudyard Kipling poem, “The Gods of the Copybook Headings”.

When the Oregon Health Plan was established in 1994, it was expressly intended to ration health care.

Wake up people! Is this really what we want as a nation for our "health care"?.....rationing of health care IS socialized medicine.

Pharmaceutical companies more humane than the healthcare system? Who would have thunk it.

The real point of the story is absolutely chilling.
