well yeah ....it's intirely possible that the "alleged victims" shot the "alleged attackers" for merely "allegedly knocking on the door" to introduce themselves as new neighbors from mexico or South central LA

Woodland Hills is in the West San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles. Today's daylight home invasion robbery occurred in a residential upper middle class area.

My friend was living there until recently relocating to Pasadena.

Its just that everytime I hear of a home invasion, it usually turns out to be somebody (perp and/or victim) connected to the drug trade. Chinese gangs are notorious for targeting wealthy Chinese in NY/NJ and Cali, for example. I used the Wonderland Murders as the classic example of drug-related home invasion.

We'll see what happens when the perp is caught (I hope soon).

To have a paper describe a suspect by race, unless White is extremely rare. It is, of course, helpful to the public and the police.

As a former newspaper editor, I'm quite aware at how the sharks would just love to swoop in (pardon the mixed metaphor) and go for some gold when their innocent little choir boy is let off on a technicality and the newspaper did not say "allegedly."
