ROTFLMAO

THE RACISM OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Do you all have your racial chips on your shoulders? Good. Because here we go ... House Majority Whip James Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina, says that climate change is now an issue of race. Keep in mind that this man is one of the top ranking politicians in Washington.

This is the mentality that is currently running the show, folks.

Yesterday at the National Press Club in Washington, Clyburn said, "It is critical our community be an integral and active part of the debate because African-Americans are disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change economically, socially and through our health and well-being."

Where does he get this horsesqueeze?

From a "climate justice" advocacy group called the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative which wrote a report which states, "Though far less responsible for climate change, African-Americans are significantly more vulnerable to its effects than non-Hispanic whites ... Health, housing, economic well-being, culture, and social stability are harmed from such manifestations of climate change as storms, floods, and climate variability."

Poor poor pitiful victims of climate change ... and victims of evil white people at the same time. Are you believing this crap?

To get an idea of where this Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative is coming from ... J. Andrew Hoerner is the co-author of this report on racism and climate change.

Hoerner told the Business & Media Institute that "solutions to climate change should be designed in a way so investors don't reap all the benefits." In other words, this man doesn't want private businesses to make a profit from climate change solutions. And why is that?

Come on, folks! Haven't you been listening? Profit is a dirty word to the environmental crowd because the environmental movement isn't about climate change. It isn't about the environment. It's about destroying capitalism and the free market.

This man wants to use the force of government to make sure that this money is redistributed to the "poor."

So just how does this "climate justice" group plan to redistribute this money? They suggest slapping businesses with a "fee, tax or allowance auction on polluters."

This money would be used to "eliminate the financial burden on low-income and moderate-income households." And this would pay to reduce global warming. And these people know for a fact that government involvement means higher costs.

They know this! But here is the rationalization from J. Andrew Hoerner: even though this scheme would cause product costs to increase, the revenue from the fees or tax would be redistributed to (poor) consumers to offset the higher costs.

You can't make this stuff up. You go ahead and stay on the man-made climate change bandwagon as long as you like ... but the longer you ride the dumber you look. This is about destroying capitalism. Wake up, folks, and smell the tired old Marxists.

you build on the latent hatred of the rich and achievers,

and you destroy their public schools.

on tv you destroy people that disagree with them, such as president bush.

and, they’ll vote for you.

I'm crazy, no doubt. But I believe the best way for conservatives to take back the country is to take full control of 37 states. We need a big migration from blue to red states, lock up state legislatures, 70 plus senators. Maybe hold a constitutional convention to rid ourselves of all this crap.

you can’t do that in an internationally competitive technological society.

our corporations and hi-tech start ups demand more and more highly educated people.

and this means getting the best from all races and genders.

You know, the idea that a Robert Mugabe meets Chairman Mao style “Cultural Revolution” ever happening here, seems like a baseless fear. Then I read Clyburn’s remarks, and I find myself entertainining of such a far fetched notion happenning...

The phrase Climate Change makes me laugh. When I was a kid, we called it THE WEATHER.

Rhetorical question, how the hell did we ever let these clowns gain power?

Well, that particular guy is in a knee-jerk D district, containing a disproportionate number of those individuals identified here as unfairly suffering from climate change.

I don't know, Al Bore has profitted nicely from the scam.

I've been preaching that sermon for decades, but nobody hs listened yet. The same scoundrels are reelected by some 94% or so each election.

Maybe hold a constitutional convention to rid ourselves of all this crap.

Creful whatyou ask for -- you just might get it. Remember the last Conctitutional Convention was called soely for the purpose of fixing a severely crippled Articles of Confederation. And ended up literally overthrowing the existing government.

Now, can you tell me where we could even start looking today for the calabre of men we had availalbe then to rewrite a new Constitution? There aren't that many Washingtons, Jeffersons, or Ben Frnklins floating around.

It scares the hell out of me everytime I think of a constitutional convention filled with delegates drawn from the modernday political crowd.

Me to. I've been waiting around for a long time, but just can't seem to make it -- I'm only 84 and 3/4ths years old. Well, maybe next year. Ya think???
