Loremo AG revises the look of its high MPG vehicle. -
Loremo AGs highly efficient Loremo LS and Loremo GT have been profiled several occasions time on DailyTech. When discussions started to brew about the vehicles, the topic quickly turned to fuel economy and then to their styling.
There was no mistaking the bodywork for something other than futuristic with its low-slung profile, glass roof, and long, aerodynamic tail. With Loremo coming closer to providing a road going version of its vehicle, it made changes to the vehicle exterior to make it more feasible for production.

It looks like a Porsche. Even after sixty years, they can’t seem to improve on Dr. Porsche’s design - perfection.
Considering these figures I doubt that the acceleration figures for these cars would be less than impressive.
Therefore I think a more appropriate warning would be;
Dont get hit by anything.
(such as tortoises, snails, lame opossums and the like)
They will use a calendar to measure the zero to sixty times.
Do not try to put a car seat in it.
i dont think it has seats you just sit on chasis
saves the weight
By the time it's ready for production, sixty will be against the law once again, but this time, Lord Obama will make sure that all cars are equipped with governors to enforce that law.
I think you are right....too small and not enough power...
Years ago i talked here and there with several inventors who had working models of transmissions and more fuel efficient engines that could produce 100 MPG cars with full sized engines..Problem is that every time a patent would come out, Detroit would snap it up and that would be the end of the fuel efficient engine...For that reason i say that if Detroit dies, it will be by it’s own hand..They deliberately held back progress..Why ?..Only the shadows know and the chiefs at Detroit..
Wow!
Look at that escargot!
I have to take the truck lanes up steep hills.
36 HP? Only a moron would buy one.
Americans love extended cab pickup trucks and SUVs. Let’s see a 100 MPG pickup.
Don't forget Bill Clinton was elected twice, Al Gore almost won and then was given a Nobel Peace Prize and Obama is in the high 40% among all polls currently.
Don't sell the market short, we have plenty of morons to sell this crap to :-)
36hp is about the same as the original VW bug. It will get you by, but certainly not barn burner.
Does the touted mileage include all the mandated safety features which prevent our present cars from getting more out of a gallon?
“Problem is that every time a patent would come out, Detroit would snap it up and that would be the end of the fuel efficient engine..”
Urban legend
To my knowledge, patents are public records. If there is one for an engine like that someone should just start producing it and defy Detroit to do something about it.
The publicity alone would be enough.
But it is in all likeliehood an urban legend.
My ‘84 Mercedes 300D (Turbo Diesel) has 120 HP and it’s still no Mustang. It will haul once it’s going, though.
