I am putting money on Pawlenty. If Obama picks Kaine in an attempt to pull VA, McCain is almost forced to counter with Pawlenty and flip Minnesota.

I don't think Pawlenty could flip anything. He barely got re-elected in 2006 with an incompetent opponent. I think he is a nice enough guy, but my opinion of him went downhill when he bought into the gorebal warming scam.
Kaine's election in Virginia was under very similar circumstances-- an incompetent opponent. I have family and friend in both states, so I know.
As for Romney, I can't tell you a whole lot about him beyond the observation that he can't be all bad considering they type of people who absoltuely loath him.

McCain is almost forced to counter with Pawlenty and flip Minnesota. What about gaining MI with Romney?!

Kaine will not help flip VA, he’s not that popular. Mark Warner could probably help Obambi flip VA, but he has ruled out a VP run opting for the senate instead.

McCain is almost forced to counter with Pawlenty and flip Minnesota. My fingers are getting tired from typing it. Any one that thinks McCain has any chance whatsoever of coming within five points in Minnesota, delusional.

With Pawlenty we only lose Minn by 6 points instead of 13.
He brings nothing to the ticket.
