China produces nearly everything these days. Its remarkable considering just 30 years ago China had no presence at all on the world market.

I can expect “Made in China” on products purchased from Wallmart, Target, or Costco - BUT My best friend just returned from a vacation in Gettysburg, and with him he brings back for me a souvenir purchased from a Gettysburg Gift shop. An authentic looking confederate kepi cap. (I wanted a spent miniie ball), but that's OK. Inside the kepi, on the label - “made In China” How sad.
