Sure, the elite media might overwhelmingly support Barack Obama. But so what? That's apparently Mika Brzezinski's opinion. Check out the exchange between Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough [file screencap] on Morning Joe today at 7:50 AM EDT, triggered by Scarborough's observation that when it comes to Barack Obama, the media "is like ninth-grade girls."

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: I actually, really reject this love affair notion.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Come on.

BRZEZINSKI: What? I do.

SCARBOROUGH: Because you are absolutely drunk on the Kool-Aid.

Yes we all know and its common knowledge that the press loves him BUT I was hoping I would come here in friendly territory and not have to read about him here, yet do you all realize that almost every thread in News/Activism is highlighting him ?

Be it negative press here granted but honestly I would prefer coming here and seeing positive about our candidate McCain, Cindy etc.

Welcome. If you are looking for McCain articles type McCain in the search bar. If you then ignore the several McCain bashing threads you’ll find a fair deal of articles on McCain the MSM doesn’t carry. However it should be noted that this election is indeed AGAINST Obama and not for McCain. This is reflected in McCain’s campaign, which runs negative on Obama (which is a good thing). It’s really more about preventing Obama and his army of doom, rather than enthusiasm for McCain.

This is why the "Fairness doctrine' would be so unfair. The MSM media sees themselves as without bias, and they are right in the center of issues and their reporting.

So what? It means the msm is 95% wrong and there is no point to listening to them at all. At least Fox is 50/50, wrong half the time. I don’t watch Hannity & Colms much any more, but, Colms would find himself traveling down a path that actually made sense, then, realize it and come back to the party line. I am sure Alan was a Hillary supporter early on, but, now I don’t think you can get him to admit he was not always for Obama. In this regard Susan Estridge is intellectually honest in that she supported Hillary and she still supports Hillary. In the end she may select the lessor of two evils.
