What did Kaine do before he was governor? Sounds like he has a rather light resume too. Picking him would be a bit of a slap to Webb though, would it not? Maybe this would cause some dissent within the VA Demo party. Though unfortunately if it means VA goes Dem, that is a major pickup for the “blue” side.
One benefit though is that the lieutenant governor, who is a Republican, would become governor I assume.
