DETROIT -- Republican presidential candidate John McCain said Thursday he doesn't believe General Motors Corp. needs a federal government bailout, but if conditions worsen enough for the auto maker, all options need to be considered.
"I hope GM does not require it, but if it looks like it is approaching that, everyone has to consider every option," the Arizona senator said in a phone interview with Dow Jones Newswires. "I'm not ready to assume that's the case right now."

He’s going to go for the win in Michigan and consequently he’ll choose Romney.

I do not have any enthusiasm for John McCain. My support for him is grudging, and a RINO running mate could make me abstain from the race.

Brilliant, You should definitely be on McCains short list for V.P. In all seriousness, the bailout of Chrysler was the only thing Carter ever did that turned out benefiting both the American taxpayer and the American investor. Can you believe what those Dumbkopf Krauts eventually paid for it before they paid someone else to take it away?

RINO! In all honesty though if a company cannot survive on its own it should not be the taxpayers jobs to bail them out. We shouldn't reward failure.
To: rabscuttle385
Dayummmmm, where does that there bailout line start? It better not be one of those “pick a number” lines.

“Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of a bailout.” I missed that revision.
