In perhaps the most striking passage, Obama asserted: I know my country has not perfected itself.
But I also know how much I love America, he said. We are a people of improbable hope. With an eye towards the future, with resolve in our heart, let us remember this history, and answer our destiny, and remake the world once again.
Obamas sweeping vision also includes:
"This is the moment when we must renew the goal of a world without nuclear weapons."
"This is the moment we must help answer the call for a new dawn in the Middle East."
"America has no better partner than Europe. Now is the time to build new bridges across the globe as strong as the one that bound us across the Atlantic. Now is the time to join together, through constant cooperation, strong institutions, shared sacrifice, and a global commitment to progress, to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
My country must stand with yours and with Europe in sending a direct message to Iran that it must abandon its nuclear ambitions.
The world should support the millions of Iraqis who seek to rebuild their lives, even as we pass responsibility to the Iraqi government and finally bring this war to a close.

Would all Obamamaniacs please line up behind the next stellar comet that passes by, so he can remake the world in an orderly fashion. Your Messiah is speaking to you.
Well, I guess he’s got the European vote LOCKED UP now! /s
Actually he is going to do it in 6 days. On the seventh day he’s going to shoot some hoop!
“Obamas sweeping vision also includes:”
“Sweeping vision” my ass.
It is the sickly saccharine, half-baked, grossly immature, puff-pastry platitudes of a pimply-faced, Junior High School Composition I essay.
Ha... and smoke some weed.

Okay all you Obamaniacs... you know the song.. everyone sing a long...
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains, there’s a land that’s fair and bright,
The handouts grow on bushes and you sleep out every night
Where the boxcars all are empty and the sun shines every day
On the birds and the bees and the cigarete trees,
The lemonade springs where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
Exactly. Just a bunch of vapid dribble. Amazing that people fall for this cotton candy.
BHO is an idiot. His speech sounded like a high school graduation speech. It was naive and lame. If this is considered presidential, the world is in big trouble!
But I also know how much I love America, he said”
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. You know how much you love America? A very imprecise statement. But for one who learned so much from Reverend Wright, William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, it’s understandable how you might not to be too specific, running for president and all.
Obama Cometh.. soros sits silently by.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Any Idiot that believes Obama , I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell them.
Great speech and imagery resembling the late greats MLK and JFK.
He isn't worth 1/10000th of either.
Obama inspires.
I saw the speech, there were bands there on the stage for an hour and half before Obama spoke, and the crowd seemed to even dwindle in size as Obama spoke... The Media seem to have the crowd all corraled in tight so they could not get away, so they could use them in the pictures. Obama looked dumb... a bad Shakespearean actor...at best.
