I have wondered if among Kadaffi’s motives in giving up his programs (yes, despite trash talk here, he had more than 1 motive) was concerns over how his successor would use the programs he left to him.
Yes, he is the designated successor after the #2 son had a falling out with Ghaddafi. Motassim (”hannibal”) is involved in Libyan Intel I believe.
