Boortz: GUESS WHICH CANDIDATE WILL WIN THE HOMELESS VOTE

GUESS WHICH CANDIDATE WILL WIN THE HOMELESS VOTE

Apparently Barack Obama can count on a newly empowered class of voter: the homeless. Michael Stoops, the executive director of the National Coalition of the Homeless says, "Low income and homeless people are more energized than I have ever seen before."

Well ... they're that damned energized, tell them to go out and get a job!

The mentality from those in the homeless industry is that if you are homeless you care more about who gets elected because your life depends on your ability to live the life of a parasite. A tick.

And if some politician comes along that is going to make you work to earn a living, then the homeless must make sure that person is not elected. The only work a tick wants to do is whatever it takes to find a host who's blood they can feast on.

Now, imagine that you are a homeless person.

And you somehow finagled your way into the voting booth (without a permanent address or proof of ID) ... which candidate would you vote for? The candidate who wants to privatize the healthcare sector, supports a free-market economy, and preaches self reliance. Or the candidate who wants to redistribute the wealth by taxing the hell out of the evil rich to make sure that everybody has their "fair share."

My guess is that you will go with option #2, which leaves you with Barack Obama.

How about an example? Shera Greenwich, a mother of two who lives in a shelter in New York City says, "I see so much change in the future if Obama is elected President ... I think he can get America back on track."

Well, even a homeless person has managed to pick up on Obama's message ... change. That's it. This woman actually believes that if Barack Obama is elected president, she will no longer be homeless and that America will get back on track.

What track?

How about the lovely Shera getting her own (undoubtedly) fat tail back on track? She's sitting around waiting for someone – Barack Obama – to do it for her.

Another woman, Mendy Harris from Phoenix lost her home after her husband lost his job. She says, "I want to try to get security for my family, retirement, health issues, all of those things, to try and get myself a little piece of mind." This is what she expects the government to do for her and her family. And her husband is drinking the Kool-Aide too.

Mendy says that her husband hasn't voted since he was 18, but he is seriously about voting in this election. And he will be voting Democrat.

Yeah .. that government-provided-security Kook-Aide .. the favorite flavor of the parasite class.

Immediately after reading the first paragraph, but before reading the second, I thought “Well good! Maybe they’ll get JOBS!”

I snickered out loud when I read the 2nd paragraph. ;-)

Obama will get the vote of every person who thinks going to work and earning a living is for suckers. Work - for money - why, that sounds like slavery !

And just what will he do for anyone that hasn’t been done over and over for more than 40 years? Low income housing? Homeless shelters with free cell phones and post office boxes? Paid job training? Entry level or make work jobs? Increase food stamp allotment? Free health care for families with children up to age 25?

Or do they think he is going to install beer fountains, and public pot plantations, along with taxless or free gasoline pumps especially for them and meterless heating and electricity? Maybe he will lift all municipal bans on loitering, public drunkeness, and being a public nuisance. Provide a free, insured car for everyone?

This is beyond ridiculous. How many of the homeless are even capable of making a rational choice on anything? So much is already provided that they have the choice to remain jobless and irresponsible and still survive.

I am sure this demographic will make a difference. Like any of them ever vote for anyone but a donk, anyway.

Back in 1992, the Clinton campaign told us that homelessness was Reagan’s fault, and that Clinton would solve the problem. Sixteen years later, homelessness has its own lobbying group that supports Democrats. This is a fine example of how the Democrats solve problems. They turn people into government dependents and throw them a bone.

In Chicago, Obama will also get the dead voters who resurrect every four years to vote for Democrats.
