No, it shows that without a third party on the right, McCain wins. Clinton *won* with 42-43% of the vote, because of Perot.
Obama is tanking in the polls and that doesn’t even count the Bradley Effect, where people are afraid to be seen as bigots and therefore say they will vote for Obama, when they won’t. There are also union workers and government workers who need to be seen as rank-and-file donks, but who routinely vote center right. They will say “Obama” in the polls, but vote McCain. So, Obama may poll at 40-43%, but he will not gain that much in the actual election. And McCain is going to pick up a portion of those who say they will vote Obama, but will instead vote for McCain.
