when my holier than thou liberal BIL began his usual diatribe, expounding upon the virtues of the DalaiBama and his stated intention to sit down with our enemies without condition, I committed a cardinal sin. I interrupted him by asking him whom the Arab world views as heroes?

And then I named them .. Nasrallah, Stinky Ahmadinejad, Bashir Assad, Samir Kuntar, Yasser Arafat, etc. Based on that, what exactly gave him cause to think that any of these animals would negotiate in good faith with the DalaiBama?

Better yet, why should anyone believe that the DalaiBama has any kind of negotiating ability? What exactly has he negotiated in the past?

Bearing in mind the Jew-haters that Obama has surrounded himself with, and bearing in mind that Obama himself has stated explicitly, in his own book, that if things go bad, he will side with the Muslims, what should give anyone the confidence that his negotiations will prove advantageous to the United States?

All he could do, is stare at me with a look of adenoidal stupidity on his face.

I find it remarkable that otherwise bright, educated, reasoning people, have absolutely no common sense.

The idea is to send targeted messages to various audiences in the West. They don't want to force action or push the West to unify under a common cause reference Iran, but they still will do whatever they want. These are ploys to help take the pressure off.

All these messages serve the purpose of diving nations, dividing people within certain nations; creating a false perception of intent.......... Iran is simple to understand. Radical and Islamist once the Ayatollah Khomeini seized power, this nation is bent on the destruction of Israel, is an enemy of the West & US, and sees the world through glasses that divide us all into Muslims and infidels. Words such as those spoken by this official are intended to appease, create doubt, false hope......... It's all part of the game, but as a nation their agenda has not changed one bit.
