Although the nation's largest Latino advocacy organization is a nonprofit that must remain nonpartisan because it gets millions of U.S. federal grant dollars, the group's president helped lead a Barack Obama pep rally during an annual conference. The extremist Mexican group National Council of La Raza clearly endorses Obama, which is why La Raza President Janet Marguia stood by as Los Angeles' renowned Chicano Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa praised Obama during the group's annual convention in San Diego. Villaraigosa assured the crowd that Obama is LATINOS' BEST HOPE for reforming the nation's immigration policies. If that's not an endorsement, then what is? Such political endorsements are prohibited by nonprofits, especially the ones that benefit from millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars like this group. As it is, Americans should be outraged that their tax dollars are going to an extremist group that advocates open borders and caters to the radical Chicano movement that says California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas belong to Aztlan. The takeover plan is referred to as the "reconquista" of the Southwestern United States. Just a few months ago La Raza got a $15 million federal earmark to council Hispanics about housing in addition to $1.3 million to conduct "comprehensive" counseling for Hispanics - all whether they are here legally or not. La Raza also uses tax dollars to fund projects like a Southern California elementary school with a curriculum that specializes in bashing America and promoting the Chicano movement.

His comprehensive and scholarly analysis of all the serious social, economic and cultural problems of illegal immigration was cited by Sen. Jeff Sessions in the Senate during the “comprehensive” immigation debate, Rush Limbaugh, and he appeared numerous times on Lou Dobbs and C-span. He actually warned Americans that if illegal immigration was not curtailed that the whole economic infrastructure of the nation would COLLAPSE within two or three decades. Yet nobody took his warning seriously. I posted his study on FR and still have it. It’s apparent that ethnocentric politics and pandering for votes has triumphed over objectivity and reason.

Remember the arrogant statement of Bush at a press conference? “See you at the signing.”? But yet the American people were infuriated and aroused as seldom before. Phone lines, FAXes, e-mails, demonstrations, and protests rocked the nation from sea to sea. It dominated TV, radio, the print press and all the media for weeks. In the end, the PEOPLE WON! Amnesty was defeated! We did it once, we can do it again! All I’m saying is that when the voice of the majority of American voters is heard loud and clear everything else become secondary. This seems like a contradiction to you and me, but to the left it isn't a contradiction at all. To them, post-racial doesn't mean a society where race doesn't matter. It means a society where whites are politically whipped by non-whites who operate as racial packs.
So to the media, Obama was "post-racial" because he got almost all the black vote plus a large chunk of the white vote. The only thing seen as threatening to the post-racial ideal was that lots of whites also voted against Obama. That was a no-no, and when Hillary Clinton courted those voters that was enough to get the media to turn on her.
When the media, the Democrats, and the leftist blogs talk of a post-racial America, they don't mean a nation where race doesn't matter to anyone. They mean a nation where non-whites organize based on race, make demands for special privileges and subsidies based on race, and vote as a racial pack. Whites are supposed to defer to all these groups' demands and to support non-white candidates. Failure to do so is seen as "racism" on the part of whites.
