Wow. What kind of people would choose to move back into a filthy, smoggy, crime-ridden, urine-smelling parasite nest with trash blowing down the streets and smashed car windows littering the curbs?

But those cities (parts of them) become less filthy and crime-ridden when more white people move in. Of course, what they also found is that they gave Section 8 to low income people and dispersed them from the large project buildings, even outside cities. Therefore, crime spread into suburban areas, even as it dropped off in the city proper.

The greenies who ditched their evil cars to "save the planet", and now only ride the bus or train.

I live in the burbs now, but would love to move back to the city.

My job has taken me to the downtowns of lots of cities, Boston, DC, Manhattan, Chicago, Baltimore, Dallas, and a few others. The streets were clean, the air was clean, and I didn’t see any cars with broken windows scattered around. Your discription of a city sounds like Baghdad or something.

Bottom line, I live in the burbs because it’s cheaper. Homes are less and property tax is way less.
