Just Another Politician - The Phrase that Pays
New Red Majority ^ | 7/16/08 | Trumptman

Which shows us all exactly what we need to do with regard to defeating him. Repeat it like a chant. Show it in every way possible. Barack Obama is just another politician. He is no different than a John Kerry or an Al Gore. He will manipulate. He will say what is needed to get elected. He will go negative and attack. He will buy the election if it is possible for him to do so. His past shows him to be nothing extraordinary and quite ordinary. Even if every single one of these points is made and lands in reverse on McCain the effect will not be the same. McCain is just an old politician with a plan. He is not a transcendent messianic figure who is above the fray.

But, but...McCain has an R behind his name...I think I’ll squander all of my remaining conservative, electoral dignity and vote for M....ARGH, sorry can’t do it. How foolish would I feel if my vote helped to constitute a mandate for all of McCain’s views? I fought for Republicans, they sold me out. I’ll vote for conservatives, RINO’s need not apply.

This makes no sense. Only one of two people will be the next president. Not choosing McCain helps Obama win. Obama and a Democratic Congress GUARANTEES tax increases, liberal jurists, and weak foreign policy when it comes to issues of war and terrorism. It advances the conservative cause 0%.

McCain’s case against Obama is very simple:

1)Obama has a nearly 100% liberal voting record and was recently rated the most liberal Democrat in the Senate by the independent National Journal. He is a partisan and all of his talk about bi-partisanship has no real evidence in his record to back it up. He supports abortion, supports tax increases in a number of areas, and opposes gun rights. He also has no major legislative achievements at any level he’s served, even less than John Edwards.

2)Obama rose to his current position in the U.S. Senate with great help from the Daley Machine in the corruption-filled city of Chicago. His claim that he is an agent of change isn’t backed up by the long list of insiders and elected leaders in Chicago who are responsible for his rise from state senator to U.S. Senator. He hasn’t changed jack about how business is done in Chicago and he’s in bed with some of the most corrupt politicians in the country. His chief strategist, David Axelrod, is the exact same guy Daley uses, for Pete’s sake.
