Its so left-wing that it will take years before its worth buying, though. And through that whole process, theyll miff off their current liberal readers.Sure, the paper is still "left leaning", but at least the editorial page has been getting it right every once in awhile, and arrives at its opinions with some seriousness. For at least the past decade, the Washington Post has been the "grown up" while the New York Times has been the screeching, red-faced toddler.
There is no longer any real comparison between the two publications.

The editorial page of the WSJ is conservative — open borders conservative, that is — but the rest of the operation is toe tag liberal and has been for decades.

Yes, the WSJ other than editorial has been liberal for eons .. but she chose a WSJ editor, not reporter, so there’s some hope. And I don’t anticipate an overnight dramatic change, but expect over time the WaPo will be more reasonable, eventually maybe more conservative.

It is maddening to pick up a newspaper and see stories in the front section that I read on the Internet days or a week ago. Then add the slants and Liberal agenda.... It's no wonder newspapers are dying out. They have failed to evolve and their never-ending attempts to push their political views on me have made me cancel my subscription long ago.
