I saw Mike, his wife and I believe their youngest child a few years ago at a local car wash. They were there getting their SUV washed and were not on display. They looked as normal as anyone else and seemed very close. Nice to see someone who was normal who works in the public eye. Condolences to the family.

I feel so bad for Mike. He just did his show on Friday from his house. He said then that his wife was sleeping 90% of the time and waking up confused and they had hospice help taking care of her. I knew it wouldn’t be long after that. Even Mike said then that the Good Lord was getting ready to carry her home.

Oh how sad... prayers for Mike and their four boys...

I hate cancer. My mother just got home after a nine day stay in the hospital with appendix cancer.

SO sorry to read this, first I’ved heard of it. For her sake, it is a blessing to end the suffering, but the family left behind has enormous grief to suffer through. May God give them the strength and comfort they will need in the coming days.

Mike had the best show in DC until political correctness took hold of the station. I pretty much stopped listening then.

95%...too much bloodloss to attempt removal of what was sticking to her liver. Mercifully, it’s not aggressive and lethal and the doctor says she’s going to live a long life. We just got back from a walk and now she’s sleeping.

Thanks. I think she’s on the road to recovery. I alreay had to tell her ‘shut up mom’ when she started nagging me about something. I feel sorry for Mike’s kids. Life isn’t the same without mom.
