This has been news around the upstate of SC, since this where he got his start in radio. I think Denise grew up in the area. I have been surprised that there haven't been any FR threads following her ordeal with cancer.
I can't find other news sources, just radio reports, and now Mike's own website.

Bill Bennett did a nice tribute to Mrs. Gallagher this morning on his radio program.
Prayers that his good soul rest in peace and that her family feel the peace of Christ to comfort them.

Condolences and Prayers out for the Gallagher family...sad news this a.m.
I have listened to Mike once in awhile on-line since they dropped his show on our local station...always talked very highly and loveingly of his wife and kids too fo that matter.
Very sorry for your loss Mike.

When Mike Married Denise, he adopted her 4 boys. Quite an undertaking for a man that had never ever been married, much less a parent. Prayers for the family.
