I find it interesting that these types of articles always say that the rumor and innuendo has been refuted or debunked by the mainstream press, yet I never see any credible analysis or detailed refutation. It's like Obama's "fight the smears" site which simply says that Claim X is untrue and, presto, it is so because they said so.

Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.

Dittoes. I've kept a perfectly open mind about the Swift Boat matter but have yet to find any credible refutation. It seems to me if Kerry was slandered or libeled by untrue accusations, he has full access to the court system to defend his "honor," along with virtually unlimited funds to press his legal case. Yet the WaPo piece dismisses the whole issue as a proven smear.

I have no idea whether Obama's a Muslim. I do know he was a 20-year member of a Black Liberation Theology church with a minister who outspokenly hates America. I do know Obama never took public issue with the church's anti-Americanism until it became politically expedient to do so. I do know he's a racist. That's enough for me to vote against him.

Can I take this as a claim you have the type of evidence you demand from Obama that verifies the rumor and innuendo?

Perhaps if you present this evidence we can accept you as an authority on the subject of his belief system. Until then your complaint is empty.

Obama’s own books make veiled allusions to his Muslim background. These assertions, in his own words, would certainly lead one to believe he has adopted his much admired father's faith.
