For the third straight day, Gallup Poll Daily tracking shows Barack Obama and John McCain tied in national registered voter preferences for the fall election, each now with 44% of the vote.

Wow, tied? I thought I heard the other day that two different polls had Obama ahead by 11 or 12 points. Maybe those were biased polls? Does Gallup have a good track record? Anyway, it’s still early. I have a feeling that Obama can only go down from here. He’s got some hard core high negatives because of his extreme liberalism, Rev. Wright, his wife’s outspoken statements, resentment from Hillary Democrats, and now Dems. find themselves on the wrong side of the energy / gas price problem.
McCain, trying his best to lose, won’t be able to because Obama, great cheerleader on the sidelines, can’t help fumbling the ball once he’s in the game.
McCain is going to carve Obama up like a thanksgiving turkey in the debates. Obama does not think well on his feet.
Those polls by Newsweek and the LA Times over sampled Democrats at 39% and Republicans at 22%, when it should have been Democrats at about 40% and Republicans at 31%.
Three days in a row??? What!!! They don’t do hourly polls??? We’re hanging on to the edge of our seats on these polls.
This is great news for McCain.
Right. Obama's a great scripted cheerleader but in the game he has butterfingers and can't hold onto the ball.
McCain on the other hand is like the quarterback who keeps throwing interceptions. However, the opposing team only has Obama and his butterfingers on defense, so McCain continues to stay on offense.
Polls this early are as useless as handcuffs on Houdini.
Nice!
