They are going to look at people's record and they should

MacCain said that? (He really is getting soft in the head.) It's because conservatives already know who he is that he's in deep doo doo.

“I didn’t win on immigration reform, but I’ll go back at it. And I’m glad I did it.”

There’s the real John McCain. That didn’t take long.

I didn’t win on immigration reform, but I'll go back at it. And I'm glad I did it.

Maybe you'd better save the nose-thumbing for AFTER the election, Juan.

"Senator Obama has the most extreme voting record in the Senate and does not have the record of reaching across the aisle "

Sorry, but that would be a positive thing if I were an Obama acolyte.

I do not support candidates for their willingness to reach across the aisle.

I might support candidates who are able to convince their adversaries to reach across the aisle, but frankly, I am at this point a scorched earth policy supporter.

I am not willing to consider compromising again with the enemy. It is a losing proposition.

McCain says - “I didn’t win on immigration reform, but I’ll go back at it. And I’m glad I did it.”

I hear - “I didn’t win the fight with those lazy, racist conservatives but I kicked ‘em in the crotch real good and I’m glad I did it!”

You notice how the more vigorous pom pom wavers for this creep never show up on these threads?

Just in case you didn't read the interview, and it was rather long, some choice (and amusing) McCain quotes for the day:

Trib: What was the purpose of your recent trip to Colombia and did you accomplish what you hoped to accomplish?
McCain: Well, I'm happy to tell you that I orchestrated the rescue of those hostages.
[wtf???]

I'd be open to anything that seems reasonable in order to get us a floor on the value of homes in America today. I'd like to give you a little straight talk. We've got to get that floor so that we can start having an improving economy. But I also ... [price controls?]

Climate change is real in my view, and we have to act in my view to address it. [cap-and-trade]

Trib: What kind of a vice president do you want?
McCain: Someone who shares my priorities and my principles. And also obviously who is ready to take my place at a moment's -- you know, immediately.
[hopefully, not Lindsey Graham...]

I need to get smart people around me, but obviously I have nothing but dumb people around me now. [well, that explains a lot...]

And, again, it's a matter of principle, my friend. It's a matter of principle. [a man without principles talks about having principles...ahh, the irony!]
