Washington, DC (24 June 2008) When Catholic youth around the world converge in Sydney, Australia for World Youth Day, they will be handed condoms in an attempt to protest the Popes unwavering opposition to abortion, contraception and homosexuality.
The NoToPope Coalition, a group of abortion, homosexual and atheist activists, including Raelians and the Socialist Alliance, will reportedly number between 1,000 and 5,000 protestors. They plan to distribute condoms to pilgrims en route to the Papal Mass at Randwick Racecourse July 20.
Its getting easier and easier to identify good and evil, said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. These young pilgrims will be an undeniable visual reminder that young Catholics, committed to living orthodox lives of faith, are the hope of the Church. They are already battling a world determined to undermine their God.
Rachel Evans, organizer of the NoToPope protest said of Benedict XVI:
Hes clearly a bigot, Evans told the Sydney Morning Herald as she condemned his hateful ideas about abortion, contraception and homosexuality.
As these pro-aborts obviously know, abortion, contraception, and homosexuality are inextricably linked, Brown said. Theyre a three-pronged attack on the family, and on the sanctity of life and marriage.
World Youth Day is the largest youth event in the world and is expected to draw 125,000 Catholic young people from around the globe 27,000 from North America.
It is axiomatic that morality cannot be bigotry.

If these guys really believe in what they do, perhaps they should go to Mecca and harass THOSE pilgrims! :)
Unbelievable.
The Pope, and other religious leaders also, don’t hate anyone. They pray for women with unwanted pregnancies who are considering abortion, and don’t know what to do. They pray for those caught in a homosexual lifestyle. They don’t hate people caught up in behaviors such as those. By holding to traditional values, the Pope and others are trying to persuade people not to be involved with the sinful behaviors.
How did the message of religious teaching and morality get so utterly twisted around, to be interpreted that those who have traditional values “hate” anyone who doesn’t have those same values?
Yeh, fat chance that will happen.
Very well said.
They don't for the same reason that animal rights activists throw paint on women in fur coats but not leather clad bikers. They prefer victims who won't fight back.
Just say Nope to the Pope?? Where have I seen that before?

They never Said being Catholic would be easy!
Rachel Evans is going to find out that her particular judgment will be a very unpleasant experience.
Hey Evans, Satan accepts everybody and it’s really easy.
