Imus: “Well, stuff happens. You’re in a night club, for God’s sake. What do you think’s gonna happen in a night club? People are drinking and doing drugs, there are women there, and people have guns. So, there, go ahead.”
Wolf: “He’s also been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005.”
Imus: “What color is he?”
Wolf: “He’s African-American.”
Imus: “Well, there you go. Now we know.”
Wake up Reverend Al.
I think after reading this it’s quite obvious what Imus meant by his comments. He was obviously siding with the Reverend Al in implying that poor Pacman is being arrested and treated unfairly based solely on his race. He is also attempting to paint Tennessee law enforcement as racist. Oops sorry! I just realized that for this argument to hold up Imus would have to be black. Then Al could run with my theory and him and Don Imus could march somewhere and shakedown someone for cash.
Isn’t Imus statistically correct in his conclusion regarding these matters? He did not use any ugly words...only what is in the newspapers of every major city in this country. It isn’t an exclusive and universal, but it is a consistency. Ask Bill Cosby.
