Imus: “Well, stuff happens. You’re in a night club, for God’s sake. What do you think’s gonna happen in a night club? People are drinking and doing drugs, there are women there, and people have guns. So, there, go ahead.”
Wolf: “He’s also been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005.”
Imus: “What color is he?”
Wolf: “He’s African-American.”
Imus: “Well, there you go. Now we know.”
Wake up Reverend Al.
I think after reading this it’s quite obvious what Imus meant by his comments. He was obviously siding with the Reverend Al in implying that poor Pacman is being arrested and treated unfairly based solely on his race. He is also attempting to paint Tennessee law enforcement as racist. Oops sorry! I just realized that for this argument to hold up Imus would have to be black. Then Al could run with my theory and him and Don Imus could march somewhere and shakedown someone for cash.
"TYPICAL WHITE PERSON" "INBRED" to fear black men?????
But how damaging was that NY Post headline of only a week or two ago....something like Sharpton Is A Shakedown Artist” ? If Sharpton tries anything with Imus I hope he plays this story....word for word....ad infinitum!
Yes I agree.Sharpton is disturbed.
Either way you want to read Imus’s comment,he is a phony.
And who voted the “Rev” Al in as America’s speech police?
They both make me sick.
When Imus makes his “reply” you can bet he’ll kneel and kiss Sharpton’s fat ass. Anybody who listens to him since he’s been on ABC knows he’s been walking on eggshells since he started working there. It’s a shame..the old Imus would have told Fatso Sharpton to take a flying f..k!
Sharpton and all the other race pimping extortionists need to show some outrage over the obscenities being explained as a “black thing”.....
70% out of marriage child birth —— Crimes way out of proportion to population —— Black on black crime —— Insufficient educational achievements —— Out of proportion Drug use and trafficking -——— to name a few of the things that SHOULD be attracting Sharpton’s attention...
But — there ain’t no money in preaching to his people.....
He’s got to come down on the white devils responsible.....
Freedom of speech, should permit one to comment on the observed behavior of folks without being attacked by black racists or apologists screaming “OUTRAGE, RACIST”.
If one doesn’t like the labels -— change the product.
stereotypes are stereotypes because....they are true.
(Not defending Imus.)
I can’t help but notice Sharpton has nary a peep to offer the collective body politic regarding Obama, but the first thing Imus utters regarding a black athlete, and he’s all over it.
He offends me.
Can I sue him?
