There are only a few Marines who I consider as Ex-Marines. Murtha and Webb make my list!
What a man is is more important than what he was. I disown Webb as brother Marine as emphatically as I do Murtha.
Ditto here. Marines never demean the Corps. Marines serve America. It follows that Marines never demean America. Webb, despite his service and that of his sons, has done both and therefore, is no different than Murtha.
